WmIBMPowerAdapter

IBM® Power® is an add-on provided by WmIBMPowerAdapter package. IBM® Power® enables you to exchange data with an IBM Power systems using IBM ToolBox libraries for Java. IBM® Power® also provides seamless and real-time communication with the IBM Power systems.

You can create and run commands and programs, and read and write data from the data queues on the IBM Power systems.

IBM® Power® enables you to configure Account and Actions.

Account: Enables you to connect to the IBM Power system. Configure the account to use in IBM Power actions.

Actions: Enables you to initiate and run commands and programs, and read and write data from the data queues. Actions are based on templates provided by IBM® Power®. Each template represents a command that can be perfomed on IBM Power systems. For example, use the Read DataQueue action to retrieve specified data from IBM Power systems.

Creating a new action from a template is straightforward. You must create an account, using which you can create a new action. During this process, select the action template and configure the action using the wizards.

IBM Power provides the following action templates:

Read DataQueue: Reads messages from an IBM Power Systems DataQueue, facilitating data retrieval for further processing.

Write DataQueue: Writes messages to an IBM Power Systems DataQueue, allowing seamless integration with systems using a DataQueue for communication.

Call Command: Executes a non-interactive IBM Power Systems Batch command, providing a flexible interface for invoking system commands programmatically.

Call Program: Invokes an IBM Power Systems program, enabling seamless integration and interaction with custom or external programs on the system.
