WmE2EMIntegrationAgent

WmE2EMIntegrationAgent package provide you with an intuitive web interface to configure and manage your End-to-End Monitoring agent for webMethods Integration Server and webMethods Microservice Runtime . The agent’s collector connectivity status is available to you in the graphical user interface. In case of debugging requirements, the web interface directly provides you with logs for analysis. The web interface also facilitates you to restore a previous configuration with a single click.

• New installation

  1. Checkout the package to \IntegrationServer\instances\default\packages folder using WPM. ( Ref : https://www.ibm.com/resources/mrs/assets?source=wpm&lang=en_US )

  2. If the above step is done with Integration Server in running state and you want to avoid one restart, Go to Administration > Management > Activate Inactive Packages. Select the checked-out package from the drop down and click Activate. If the above step is done with Integration Server in the inactive state, the package will be showing in Management screen without this step once Integration Server is started.

  3. Once the new package is available under package list, click on the home icon of End-to-End Monitoring package. The homepage will show the details like

    a. Is the configuration done under “Product Configuration”

    b. Status of the connectivity (Online/Offline) once the configurations are complete.

    c. End-to-End Monitoring log file

    d. custom_wrapper.conf configuration for Integration server

    e. End-to-End Monitoring configuration to be added to custom_wrapper.conf.

    f. End-to-End Monitoring agent configuration.

    Note: Only the End-to-End Monitoring agent configuration file is editable from the UI screen. To make it enabled for edit, click on the Edit button. Once finished editing, click on the Update button to save the changes.
    
  4. Click on the merge button to copy the contents from text area listing from “End-to-End Monitoring configuration” to custom_wrapper.conf file.

  5. Once the custom_wrapper is successfully updated, then the user will be prompted to restart the Integration Server

On successful connection & registration the GUI will show End-to-End Monitoring as online along with the logs

• Upgrade

a. Stop Integration Server

b. Update the package from the tag matching your Integration Server, or from the relevant tag in case of fix release from https://packages.webmethods.io/ using WPM.
